    Feature

In nature, cyanobacteria are the largest source of phycocyanin, and phycocyanin accounts for a large proportion of cyanobacterial cells. If under specific culture conditions, the content of phycocyanin can be increased.
It is a heterodimeric protein composed of two subunits.
Phycocyanin powder appears as a blue powder, and the liquid is viscous after dissolving in water. The protein content is calculated by the measured data. The products supplied by our company are of high purity, few impurities, and excellent efficacy.

    Advantages

    1. The products supplied by our company are of high purity, few impurities, and excellent efficacy.
    2. Pure natural marine biological extraction, no toxic side effects. Easy to combine with antibodies, biotin, avidin, immune proteins and other substances.
    3. It has a wide absorption spectrum in a wide pH range.
    4. Excellent water solubility, easy to cross-link with other molecules, less non-specific adsorption.

    Application

    1. Food additives, pigments.
Phycocyanin is a rare natural edible blue pigment in nature. In recent years, blue foods have become more and more common.
FDA has approved the use of phycocyanin in food, including beverages, cheese, ice cream, candy, chewing gum, yogurt, pudding and other common foods.
    2. Used as a pigment in cosmetics.
    3. Biological health effects. It has auxiliary therapeutic effects on anti-oxidation, anti-inflammation, hypolipidemic, antibacterial, and immune regulation. However, most studies are still in the experimental or clinical research stage.
