    Features

    Pro-xylane, also known as C-beta-D-xylopyranoside-2-hydroxypropane, Hydroxypropyl Tetrahydropyrantriol, C-Xyloside, is essentially a xylose structure, consisting of two groups of diastereoisomers, with a molecular weight of about 200.

    Intuitively, the quality of Pro-xylane raw materials can be judged from the color and taste. The lighter the color and the lighter the sour taste, the better the quality.

    Application

    Function

    Its two main functions are to maintain skin elasticity and prevent skin aging. You can find it in the ingredient list of many cosmetics with anti-aging effects.
    Its efficacy can be ranked alongside that of retinol and peptides, but Hydroxypropyl Tetrahydropyrantriol is milder.

    1. Hydroxypropyl Tetrahydropyrantriol can promote the natural synthesis of collagen, for example, the synthesis of key basement membrane proteins such as type IV and type VII collagen, strengthen the basement membrane structure, improve the tightness of the epidermis and dermis, and make the skin firmer and more elastic.
    2. It can stimulate the synthesis of glycosaminoglycans (GAGs) and proteoglycans, and help the synthesis of hyaluronic acid. In other words, it can maintain the moisture content between the extracellular matrix, promote epidermal renewal, and improve wrinkles and fine lines.
      Glycosaminoglycans (GAGs) and proteoglycans constitute the basic structure of the dermis, and they also interact with various cytokines, growth factors or other proteins to maintain the elastic state of the skin.
    3. Studies have shown that C-Xyloside can promote the regeneration of fibroblast growth factor, which is closely related to skin repair. It can make the epidermis thicker, improve the skin barrier function, and make the skin healthier overall.
      C-Xyloside can improve the degree of facial sagging, skin gloss, skin tone uniformity, and skin firmness to varying degrees.
